Greeting CRCC Members and Friends,

          I would like to once again thank all the members who worked so hard to put together what I think was our best fun fly event we have had so far. We had an unbelievable turnout of both pilots and spectators with great weather, food and fun. As always there were a lot people who pitched in to help us put together this great event and worked all day long to make sure everything went as planned. I am sure I will miss some of your names and if I do I apologize in advance however, there are many members who are deserving of recognition: Fred and Pam Landrum, Gary Roberts, Lois Lavine and Steve McLachlan for the food prep and sales, Gene Sr. and Judy Lavine for their help with pilot registration and ticket sales, Dave Zolton and Tom Gould for their assistance with the paint ball shoot and Brad Hyatt, Jason Fayling, Ron Jasinski, Dave Topel, Gene Sr. and Judy Lavine, Lois Lavine, Steve McLachlan and Tom Gould for their generous donations of food, drink and supplies.

          Also, a huge shout out and special thank you to Stan Allison of Allisons Performance Hobbies for the generous donations to the raffle. As always, Stan continues to be a huge promoter of the club and I sincerely appreciate his tremendous support. Another shout out and thank you to my good friend Steve Johnson who did a great job with the noon day airplane demo. He and his son travelled a good distance to see us and were a huge addition to the field of flyers.  Last, but certainly not least, a huge thank you to Mat Botos and his group for the unbievable noon day demo and tremedous flights put on throughout the day!           Financially we were very successful as well bringing in $991 gross dollars for the club. This money will go a long way towards our future improvements to the field and will be enjoyed by all members for a long time to come. I don’t have the exact count on number of registered pilots right now but last I looked we had two pages full of names on the sign-up sheet and without a doubt was a biggest turn out yet. With the fly in event now past and new dollars in the kitty we will now begin the process of planning out and delivery of these new improvements so look for notice coming soon regarding such.

          Once again, thank you to everyone for your kind and generous donations, your attendance and your dedication to the club. Also, be sure to stay tuned to our website for new pictures and videos of the past fly in as well as upcoming events.
